Swampdogs Alumni In The Major Leagues

Since the SwampDogs’ founding in 2001, they have had seven former players make the ultimate leap to playing in Major League Baseball. David Aardsma of the 2001 SwampDogs was the first alumni to play in the MLB, when on April 6, 2004, he came in to pitch the seventh and eighth innings of the San Francisco Giants’ victory over the Houston Astros. Aardsma registered the win in his debut.
